Magic cape was inspired from my personal attitude of responding to overflowed waste problems.
I collected dumped and unwanted clothes from the recycling centre. I sewed them together assembling colours which represent our nature such as sky, soil, sea, forest and flowers. The patched fabric cover will hide our waste to avoid confronting the current problem. It will pretend itself as a colourful object in the far distance. But, it is made of waste materials and covering more waste goods underneath. It is like we sweep something under the carpet.

I am still questioning ‘what is the right direction in the art context to contribute to our sustainable environment?’
